Woke up Tuesday morning to the familiar sound of Taylor Swift gently waking me up. (Our Song). The cool morning dew (3.2*C; 38*F) of the rain the night before was refreshing as the day before was hot....and humid. Went down to the hotel restaurant to grab some breakfast that consisted of ham, cheese, orange juice and the familiar Frosted Flakes. 'They're GRRREEEAT!' Went to work.
EDIT: I just found another picture! Apparently I also got an omelet that morning too. Ham, egg, cheese, onions, bell peppers.

'Nice and cool'
For lunch, we went to this little 'mom-and-pop' restaurant near work, called Burritas. Lunch included enchiladas, potatoes, rice and 7 Up. It really saddens me that I don't have pictures of this...being Asian and all you'd think that I'd know better than to forget to take pictures of my food. I promise it gets better. Work....was slow. After the long hours had past, I get back to the hotel and draw back the curtains.
After a few hours of rest, my tummy grumbles reminding me that it needs to be fed. I mean how needy can one be? Am I right? Right? Ha! I kid. I love food. I'll eat even when I'm not hungry! 'Are you going to finish that?'
Dinner time! Woo hoo!
I started out with chips and salsa again and a tomato soup.
'Mmm, soup. I mean tomato soup! I mean soup!'
The bowl contained tortilla chip strips, some tofu or was it cheese?, and pork rinds. The tomato soup was then poured on top. The soup was delicious with a good balance of sourness and saltiness as a good tomato soup should be. The added ingredients gave different tastes for each slurp, which I was recently told by my uncle that slurping, although considered rude, makes soup taste better, as it aerates/aerosolizes the soup yielding the full flavor.
For the main course, I had Spanish enchiladas. Now know what you're thinking, 'Enchiladas again?' I saw this lady eating them at another table, and thought to my self 'hmm, those look good. I think I'll have those'. I typed that in my Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber voice. I figured that wouldn't translate here so I had to add this sentence to explain it. Hopefully that conveys the humor to you. No? Ok then. Moving along.
'Echiladas Espana'
Now, the Enchiladas were good.....but they weren't what I was expecting. I take my first bite expecting this explosive creamy, salty taste of a cheese based sauce, only to be hit with a thin base that was sour. You know that feeling. Even though something might taste good, because you got hit with this unexpected taste, it's not quite what you imagined. After dinner, I head back up to my room for a nice shower, and what I hope is a good night sleep.
On the next episode...Border Crossing Adventures!

Haha! this while blog I'd about food! I like it though. the view from your room was nice too!
